LIUBA NOSOVA : MY STORY
From an early age, Liuba Nosova felt an eternal desire to create. Growing up in the Soviet Union, she was deeply inspired by the people, stories, and landscapes of her childhood. Although Liuba dreamed of becoming an artist, her family encouraged her to pursue a more secure path. At 22, she graduated as a chemical engineer, moved to Italy a year later and, by 25, had launched a successful career as a sales manager in a multinational petrochemical company.

Her position came with impressive opportunities for luxurious life. Such a role might be seen as a pinnacle of material success, yet for Liuba, it was only the beginning of her inner journey. As time moved on, Liuba felt increasingly drawn to a different calling, one far removed from the chemical industry. At 33, she made the bold decision to leave her well-paid, stable job to follow her passion for art.
Liuba didn’t pursue a full degree at a Fine Arts Academy. Instead, she began her artistic journey on her own, teaching herself through focused workshops. She later honed her craft with select programs at the Academia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy, and the Academy of Fine Arts in New York. However, as Liuba often reflects, her most valuable skills came from relentless experimentation and self-directed learning.Today, her creations span ceramics, oil painting, sculpture, and jewelry, blending a vivid imaginary world with reflections from her life’s journey. Her works are both a surreal reflection and a mirror of her inner reality—offering a glimpse into the magical universe she continues to build with unwavering passion.
